It’s hard to believe, but the junior club has been running for 10 years this year! We have grown from a small group of around 20 players (1 x U14 team and 1 x U16 team) to the club we are today offering 70 places across 5 teams! To celebrate we organised a fun session on 25th August incorporating a mini tournament for the U14/U16 session, refreshments and special anniversary cakes. We were lucky enough to have two of the club’s founders with us to join in the celebrations – Helen Newman and Amy Callaway. Helen made a short speech and presented all players with a commemorative sports bag.
